CIVVY - A new uniform for Veteran Magazine

You may have noticed a change to our name. Veteran Magazine is now CIVVY. This isn’t a change in direction. It’s a sharper, more recognisable identity for what we’ve always been building, a modern UK platform for former members of HM Forces navigating life after service. “Civvy” is a word every veteran knows. It captures the reality of transition — familiar, honest, no dressing it up. That felt right.

What’s changing — and what isn’t

The name and brand are new. What we do isn’t. CIVVY is here to deliver practical, straight-talking content for veterans building civilian lives. What is expanding is the format, CIVVY will now live both online and in print.

A quarterly magazine, made to last

We’re launching a physical quarterly publication alongside the website. Expect quality writing, considered design and stories that reflect life after service as it actually is — careers, training, health, money, identity, family and community. It’s built to be something you pick up, read properly, and hold onto.

Print subscriptions are open. Subscribing is the easiest way to back CIVVY from the start and guarantees the first issue lands on your doormat the moment it’s ready.
